Acer introduced two models of tablet computers Windows 8, the day before the event Computex technology show held in Taipei, Taiwan, Tuesday, June 5th, tomorrow.
Both models of tablet that runs with Windows 8 operating system is equipped with processors made by Intel. On the Acer W700 use Intel Core chips Ivy Bridge.
Taiwanese computer vendor showcased Iconia W510 with 10.1-inch wide screen and W700 that spans a wider screen, which is 11.6 inches.
Tablet Iconia W510
Tablet Iconia W510 is a tablet with Windows 8 IPS sized 10.1-inch screen with full HD 1080p resolution.
Tablet Iconia W510 has 3 modes of use that is generally in the form of tablets, tablet plus keyboard on a tablet dock as Transformer, and the percentage of the display mode can be rotated back to 295 degrees.
Acer tablet with their presentation on the stage, and they claim this tablet can last up to 18 hours when connected to the keyboard dock. Acer Iconia W510 will be priced $ 799.
Tablet Iconia W700
In addition there is also a tablet Iconia W700 which is a Windows 8 tablet-sized 11.6-inch display with full HD 1080p and up to 10 finger multitouch sensor.
The tablet also comes with Dolby Home Theater sound. As a complement Iconia W700 has a cradle / holder, this holder allows the screen folded with a slope of 70 degrees in landscape position to give a better perspective.
Also note that the Iconia W700 also has 3 USB 3.0 ports. Iconia W700 priced at $ 999.
Both tablet is scheduled to go on sale in early September 2012.
