Confirm Ashton Kutcher play as Steve Jobs in Indie Movie

CALIFORNIA – Ashton Kutcher reportedly will playing one of the founders of Apple, Steve Jobs in an independent film. According to reports, the film tells the story of his late journey Jobs, ranging from a naughty hippie to be a successful entrepreneur and techno figure.

Reporting from Apple Insider, Monday (04/02/2012), Jeff Sneider from Variety reports the actor will portray Jobs in the film titled ‘Jobs’. The film will be produced by Joshua Michael Stern and Matt Whiteley as a screenwriter.

Although some people ignore the news because it is considered as a joke on April Fools’ Day (1 April), but Sneider stressed repeatedly in Twitter that it was the right thing and not a joke.

Kutcher is not new in the technology industry. He is a leading investor in several internet startup and active on Twitter. While the similarity in appearance to Jobs as a young, early speculation that the likelihood is that Kutcher will play a role as Jobs.

Meanwhile, Sony Pictures is also reported to be producing a film about careers based on the biography written by Walter Isaacson. In fact, reportedly, screenwriter of ‘The Social Networking’, Aaron Sorkin is considering to take part in the film.

If Kutcher digaet for indie film version, the actor George Clooney and Noah Wyle reportedly will competing for a role as Jobs in the Sony Pictures film. Wyle had previously been described as Jobs in 1999 in the film ‘Pirates of Silicon Valley’, which tells of the fierce competition between Apple and Microsoft.

Kutcher (34) is scheduled to begin filming for the movie during production breaks for the television series “Two and a Half Men,” which starred.

This is the second experience Kutcher to portray the king of the technology because of the “Two and a Half Men” he plays a businessman in the Internet field named Walden Schmidt.
