Dubai Plans to Build Underwater Hotel
Dubai – Want to sleep through the night with fish, octopuses and sea horses? In Dubai, your wish will come true soon. After the success of the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, they would build a grand hotel near the beach under the sea. Designees in the Deep Ocean Tecknology (DOT), hope this hotel will satisfy travelers to explore the depths of the ocean.

The hotel will consist of two main parts, one above and one below the water. The second part will be joined by three ‘legs’ which functioned as elevators and stairs to take guests up and down from under the sea.
Guests will be able to sleep in rooms under the water. Special lighting will allow guests to enjoy the flora and fauna outside their window and a special telescope to be installed to help enlarge the smallest creatures on the seabed.
The bottom of the water lies at depths of up to 10 meters and consists from 21 hotel rooms adjacent to the dive center and bar.
But this time Dubai can not claim it as the world’s first submerged hotel. Rangali Island Resort in the Maldives, had earlier offered a giant glass aquarium beneath the Indian Ocean to stay for one night under the sea.
Maldives has also launched a plan to create a golf course on the islands that are still floating. Access to each of the islands through the underwater tunnel.
