Josh Powell Say ‘I Have a Surprise’ Before He Kill and Burn His children
SEATTLE – Josh Powell told the 7-year old son that he has a ‘big surprise’. He said that shortly before the attack and kill his own son and 5-year-old younger brother, said a social worker is supposed to supervise visits between the Powell two sons.
In an interview published on Friday on ABC’s “20/20″, the social worker, Elizabeth Griffin-Hall, said Powell suddenly slammed the door in her face after the two children in the house on Sunday. Hall heard Powell say to his son Charles, “I’ve got a big surprise for you.”
She also heard Braden, Charlie’s brother was crying hard. Authorities said Powell used an ax to kill his two children and then burned the house to kill them all.
Powell’s wife, Susan, lost in Utah two years ago. Powell has long been suspected as the perpetrators of these cases, but he managed to convince the authorities that he brought his two sons – then aged 2 and 4 years – camping in freezing temperatures when his wife disappeared from home.
Josh Powell’s computer had images of animated incestuous sex on it, authorities have revealed.The images were realistic computer-generated depictions of parent-child sex, Detective Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
The picture was encouraging officers to conduct psychological tests against Powell and forced him to undergo a psychosexual evaluation of the intensive.
On Sunday, the social worker brought the boys from their grandfather to their father’s home about 37 miles from Seattle. Josh Powell lost custody late last year, after he was arrested for investigation of child pornography.
Griffin said Charlie Hall and Braden really like to live with their father. “One of them even said wanted to go home and live with their father,” she told the ABC and the boys would be more cheerful when visiting their father, Josh Powell.
Powell once locked the door, Griffin Hall and her supervisor immediately called 911. There has been no help command after eight minutes Griffin Hall first contact with 911 . Although, the authority argued without any delay will not stop what happens to poor kids.
Officers that handle 911 calls received criticism. Responding to that situation, an investigation was launched against the officials that manage emergency response.
While the social worker told the boss ‘something terrible happened here’. “I was talking on the phone when suddenly the house exploded.”
“I want to take the kids,” she said. “I want to take them out. I am going to break anything if only I could.”
But Griffin Hall, confessed to ABC, she thinks could save them. “Josh Powell, is really cruel. I can not stop it,” she said. “I’ve done what I could. I’m doing it right and the kids were still killed.”
She claims to love both the boy and felt like ‘a grandmother’ for them. “They will not grow big,” she said. “The world lost two little sweet because of the act of a monster.”
This country needs to start treating children like human being and not a possession until they are 18. Had these kids have been taken to a controlled visitation area they would still be here. For some reason there is this need to put a child back with its biological parent. If a man or woman was abused they have the decision not to see that person again and even press charges. Children on the other hand do not, they have no rights, even crimes against them in many states is not equal to that of adults doing the same thing to each other. Things like this happening when will “Child Services and the Courts make changes and finally protect these children instead of giving the benefit of the doubt to the parent who had already proved to be “Unfit”.
