Monika Samaan, a daughter who is now 14 years old, had salmonella encephalopathy, a sort of disease of brain injury associated with food poisoning after eating KFC chicken menu Twister from KFC outlets in Sydney, Australia. The incident occurred in October 2005 when Monika was seven years old.
Monika also some family members had fallen ill after eating the Twister. But Monika was the most widely consumed Twister.
At that time, Monika fell into a coma. Before being taken to hospital, she had experienced a seizure. According to doctors, Monika decreased cognitive and motor skills after consuming these foods from KFC. That’s what makes it a flaw.
The Supreme Court (MA) New South Wales today as reported by AFP on Friday (04/27/2012) ordered KFC to pay such compensation as damages and legal fees.
