Mexican woman who claimed pregnant nine babies was a hoax

Mexico City – Karla Vanessa Perez, a woman from Mexico who reported nine twin pregnancy, it was a hoax.

On last Thursday, Televisa, Mexico’s main television station, reported a record-breaking twin pregnancy, and immediately became a hot topic around the world. The woman said that she was pregnant twin nine (nonuplets) after undergoing fertility treatment, and will give birth to six women and three men early May. According to Televisa, they presented a very convincing proof of the pregnancy, including ultrasound results.

After the news, the health of the local government offered assistance to the woman, identified as Karla Vanessa Perez, 32, from Villa Arteaga, the state capital east Satillo. Tests were conducted on Friday, which revealed that she was not even pregnant at all.

Citing msnbc.com, a journalist from El Diario de Coahuila, Mexico newspaper, see her mother, Francisca Castaneda, who reported that Perez had three children, ages 15, 12 and 4 years. After the birth of the latter, Perez underwent surgery that is not allowed to get pregnant again.

Not clear what the motive behind the act.

December 1998, Chukwu octuplets, baby’s first octuplets born in Houston, Texas. Seven of whom are still alive today. One died a week after birth.

January 2009, Suleman octuplets, six boys and two girls, born in Bellflower, California, and survived until now.
