White House Correspondents Dinner, When Obama makes joke about latest issues
Applause by Hollywood star, U.S. President Barack Obama mocked Mitt Romney, his rival in the U.S. presidential election, in November. Obama made joke at the White House Correspondents dinner, Saturday (28/4), not just for Romney, but also Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, millionaire Donald Trump, and the Secret Service.
White House Correspondents dinner is the biggest social event for the media in Washington. This annual event gives an opportunity for the President of the United States to show the lighter side of his daily activities. About 2,500 journalists, celebrities and politicians are enjoying the show, including former Secretary of State Colin Powell, actor George Clooney, actress Reese Witherspoon, and director Steven Spielberg.
When the time came to speak, Obama recalls a similar event that took place last year when Navy SEALS special forces sent to capture and kill Osama bin Laden.
